Sonic carrying Amy's hammer

Aww....for the first time that Sonic is carrying Amy's hammer. And also for bashing his way through Eggman's lair to rescue Amy.
Usually I thought Amy always carries her hammer out of nowhere. Maybe she has more hammers at her house, I guess. Maybe that's why Sonic borrowed one from her house and goes inside Eggman's lair to rescue her.
